Girl Boss Elise wants you to know that she has no idea what she’s doing! “All that I create comes from a trust in self and following intuition,” Elise says. “Business classes taught me what sells, but I am not interested in that. All that matters is that I am able to make small impacts of change in someone's life through plant, energy and crystal medicine.”
Elise definitely knows what she’s doing when it comes to crafting herbal remedies, though. The owner of Free Spirit Delicacies has been practicing her craft for over 20 years! “I learned my craft through my mother, an Herbalist, Reiki Master, and Bodyworker of over 30 years,” Elise says. “She began by attuning me to Reiki at three years old.”
Now, Elise runs her own business that “combines ancient wisdom with modern intuitive alchemy.” Using herbs, crystals and essential oils, Elise creates a variety of products including Intuitive malas, Aromatherapy, Metaphysical Soy Candles, Face Masks (including Rose and Charcoal), Essential Oil Rollers, Crystal Quartz Earrings, Tea Tonics, Tinctures, CBD Soy Candles, and CBD rollers.
In addition to the products she sells, Elise recently opened Free Spirit Delicacies Art & Healing Studio where women and those who identify can browse products from an artist cooperative while also experiencing Reiki, massage, Intuitive Soul Watercolor Painting, workshops, Sister Circles, and Tarot & Energy readings. “Bringing this labor of love together as a safe space for budding makers and healers has brought my lifelong dream to fruition,” Elise says.
Because Elise loves and respects Mother Earth, you’ll find her trying to reduce her footprint as much as possible. In her business life, that looks like using recyclable, biodegradable, or previously recycled packaging. In her personal life, Elise is happy to stock her wardrobe with basics that she can wear all the time, like our Kate Bodysuit. “THE KATE BODYSUIT IS MY JAM!!!” she says. “The pieces I choose MUST be functional for EVERY season. I could wear the bodysuit to bed, yoga, with harem pants on a lounging day, or with a vintage skirt to Kentucky Center for the Arts!”
